So ask yourself now, why can’t i see positive results even though I have faith? My dear, it is because
you don’t have the knowledge of the exceeding greatness of God’s power. If you know how and what the power of God does, If you know that God is the omnipotent and omniscient God, If you know that his power is extra ordinary, You wouldn’t be doubting if that sickness will leave and never return, You wouldn’t be doubting if you will actually pass that exam, You wouldn’t be doubting that your debts will be paid, You would know that all things are possible with him.
If you know that his power is extra ordinary, You wouldn’t be doubting if that sickness will leave and never return
Having this basic understanding that your faith alone is not what breaks these barriers but the power of God. Your faith is what actually activates the power of God, that is why faith is the first and foremost. But many times we as human beings have faith but do not acknowledge the power of God.This is what actually keeps us from achieving success. You believe that something Good will come your way, but you don’t believe in the power that will cause something good to come your way.
Not acknowledging the power of God is what makes us to question or faith and question the possibility of something good coming our way. Ephesians 1vs 19,”….and what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the work of his mighty power”, in this Bible passage, Paul praying for the Ephesians understood that it is all about faith plus the power of God and so he prayed also for their eyes to be opened to know the exceeding greatness of his (God’s) power to them that believe.

You should be able to understand that though the faith is from you, the power is not yours but by his power. The power is beyond your self effort. If the power of God is in action, your effort though seemed necessary but is not the most important thing .I remember that the first few months I started working on building my faith. Initially, I didn’t see any change. This was because it took me time to understand that it is God’s power not my own power. I kept on struggling to get things done even though I believed it will be done but I was using my own effort. To me It was a season of wandering in the wilderness, Until I came across Ephesians 1:19 I understood better and allowed the power of God to take charge. Immediately I started seeing changes.

It takes more than just your belief. Both works hand in hand and none can do without the other. Half-hearted faith will not produce any result. It doesn’t matter what you might be experiencing now, it doesn’t matter how long you’ve been in it. The only thing required of you is to believe and to trust in the power of God that never fails.
